International Waterline Competition

The International Waterline Competition will take place from July 13th to 14th, 2024, featuring a Slackline stretched over the water in front of the Baracchetta di Biagio, offering a view of the Portofino promontory, located in the vibrant heart of Recco. Two lines will be set up on the sea, exclusively reserved for all members of Slackline Liguria ASD. At certain times of the day, the lines will be reserved exclusively for athletes participating in the competition. Participants will have the opportunity to train and improve together, sharing the magic of the Trickline.

The Origin Story: Unveiling the Competition's Journey

Like many of the most interesting endeavors, it was born from the shared passion of two individuals. Riccardo Rubattino and Thiago Oliveira Battista discovered this space through their love for Trickline. After crossing paths while practicing their art on the coast of Genoa, Thiago, an artist and craftsman skilled in coconut palm weaving, and Riccardo, a draftsman with a penchant for traditional and contemporary decoration, decided to channel their passion into Slackline as a sport and art form. They transformed this space into a sports venue, offering everyone the opportunity to explore this cutting-edge discipline. Thus, Recco Splash 2024 was born!

Midline Area and Athletes' Bivouac or Tent Space

Private area exclusively dedicated to all athletes and volunteers of Recco Splash 2024, (SPACES RESERVED FOR MEMBERS OF THE ASD, ORGANIZERS AND ATHLETES)

Regarding accommodation for all competition participants, a tent space will be reserved in Polanesi at the middline spot, where we have exclusive use of private land for sporting activities.
